Folio Views 3.1

In using the LiveNote-Folio Views filter for Folio Views 3.1, 
you will need to modify the views.ini file.  It is created in 
the windows sub-directory by default.  In the views.ini file 
there is a section called [Text Import Filters].  The livenote 
filter needs to be referenced in that section.  Following is a 
sample of how the section should look:

LEXIS\NEXIS (*.*)=C:\VIEWS31\FILTERS\LEXNEX.DLL,*,LEXNEX.INI
LiveNote (*.PTF)=C:\VIEWS31\FILTERS\PTFFLT31.DLL,PTF

Once you have modified your views.ini file, run Folio and follow 
the steps below:
  
1.	Create a new infobase by selecting File.New.
2.	With the new, but blank infobase open, select File.Open.
3.	Select LiveNote filter from the List Files of Type pulldown menu.
4.	Navigate to a .PTF file and select OK.

The .PTF file will then be imported into your infobase.

Folio Views 4.x

Copy the file to your Windows\Systems sub-directory. Folio Views will will automatically recognize the filter upon importing.
